MEXICAN CORNBREAD PIZZA

INGREDIENTS:
1 box Dietary Specialties Cornbread Mix
1 lb ground meat
1 chopped onion
1 tsp chili powder
1 tsp garlic powder
1/4 cup salsa
8 oz shredded cheddar cheese

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Preheat oven to 400.
  2. Prepare cornbread and spread batter into greased 12-inch pizza pan. Bake for 8 – 10 minutes or until lightly brown.
  3. Brown meat and onion and then drain.
  4. Add seasoning to salsa and spoon over crust.
  5. Sprinkle cheese over baked crust.
  6. Top with meat mixture and remaining cheese.
  7. Bake 4 - 5 minutes or until cheese is melted.
