HEATH BAR COOKIES

INGREDIENTS:
Ener-G crackers
1 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
½ tsp baking soda
1 cup chopped walnuts

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Grease a large cookie sheet. Lay crackers to cover.
  2. Melt butter over medium heat; add brown sugar.
  3. Bring to a boil; allow to boil 1 minute only.
  4. Remove from heat and add baking soda.
  5. Pour over crackers and spread to cover.
  6. Bake for no longer than 8-10 minutes at 350.
  7. Watch that it doesn't burn.
  8. Remove from oven and sprinkle with chocolate chips.
  9. Spread to cover. Sprinkle with nuts.
